One of the requirements of the new state educational standard is the introduction of information and communication technologies in the educational process. In this connection, the need has arisen for a new learning model built on the basis of modern information technologies.

The 21st century is the century of high computer technology. Computer technology has penetrated into all areas of human activity. Today, the use of information and communication technologies in the education system is becoming necessary. The modern student lives in the world of electronic culture. The role of the teacher in the information culture is changing, he must become the coordinator of the information flow. The teacher, keeping up with the times, today is psychologically and technically ready to use information technology in teaching. Any stage of the lesson can be revitalized by the introduction of new technical means.

The inclusion of ICT in the educational process allows the teacher to organize various forms of educational and cognitive activity in the classroom, to make students active and purposeful independent work. A computer can be used at all stages: both when preparing a lesson and in the learning process: when explaining (introducing) a new material, fixing, repeating, and controlling a ZUN.

Today, much attention is paid to the use of information technology in training. Our task should be aimed not so much at transferring specific knowledge from various areas to students, but at providing conditions for their self-determination and self-realization. The ability to process information is a very valuable asset. In this regard, I would like to consider this topic from the point of view of ICT's ability to help the teacher in achieving this goal.

ICT means by itself:

  • ·                     technologies that allow to search, process and assimilate information from various sources, including the Internet.
  • ·                     Use of the computer itself, a variety of programs.

The main goal of ICT application is to ensure the improvement of the effectiveness of education.

The use of information technology in the classroom is necessary, and it is motivated by the fact that they

  • ·                     allow you to effectively organize group and independent work in the classroom;
  • ·                     Contribute to the improvement of practical skills of students;
  • ·                     Allow you to individualize the learning process;
  • ·                     Increase interest in the lesson;
  • ·                     activate cognitive activity of students;
  • ·                     Develop the creative potential of students;
  • ·                     Modernize the lesson.

When preparing for a lesson using ICT, a teacher should not forget that this is a LESSON, which means to make a lesson plan based on his goals; when selecting educational material, he must follow basic didactic principles: systematic and consistent, accessible, differentiated, scientific, etc. At the same time, the computer does not replace the teacher, but only complements it.

The use of ICT in the process of teaching schoolchildren increases the overall level of the educational process, enhances the cognitive activity of students. To do this, the teacher must master a number of skills.

The main ones are:

-technical, that is, the skills necessary to work on a computer as a standard software usage;

-methodical, i.e. skills necessary for educating students;

-technological, that is, the skills necessary for the competent use of information tools of education in different lessons.

The use of ICT in the classroom helps students to navigate the information flow of the world, to master the practical ways of working with information, to develop skills that allow sharing information using modern technical means.

Relevance and novelty due to:

Firstly, in the information society, the formation of a new style of thinking has become the most important social task.

Secondly, the use of a computer in everyday life becomes an element of a person’s general culture. Students have a great interest in computers, increasing motivation to study subjects.

Thirdly, the introduction of profile training involves an in-depth study of special subjects. At the same time, the role of ICT as a means of modernizing the education process is steadily increasing.

The success of educational institutions today is estimated by the level of formation of personal qualities capable of independent creative activity, owning modern information and communication technologies (ICT). This is due to a number of factors:

First, a person who knows how to work with the information systems and telecommunication networks necessary in everyday life, who possess information culture, acquires not only new tools of activity, but also a new outlook.

Secondly, owning the experience of creative activity, he is in a more favorable position in relation to people using standard, well-established methods.

Thirdly, he is able to raise his intellectual level, develop and introduce progressive technologies, and develop himself in any educational direction.

Only a society consisting of individuals with high creative potential and level of information culture can provide decent living conditions for themselves.

Improving the efficiency of education is impossible without creating new forms of education. Currently, the teacher can not work as before. He should teach students how to use information and communication technologies and independently acquire information. One of the main directions of my work with students is the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process. Independent work involves the highest degree of activity. To do this, it is necessary to organize training activities in such a way that students have an interest in work, satisfaction with the result, but at the same time self-sufficient.

The personal computer is not just a masterpiece of modern high technology - it is the door that has already opened the way to world information. PC in education is a device that provokes both teachers and students to creativity and innovation, giving the opportunity to move to new forms of learning.

The use of information and computer technology opens up new possibilities for the teacher in teaching their subject. Studying any discipline using ICT provides an opportunity for reflection and participation in the creation of elements of a lesson, which contributes to the development of students' interest in the subject. Classical and integrated lessons accompanied by multimedia presentations, on-line tests and software products allow students to deepen their knowledge, increase the effectiveness of training, the intellectual level of students, instill skills of self-learning, self-organization, and facilitate the solution of practical problems.

Computer technologies have opened up new possibilities for the creation of illustrative material by teachers themselves: video films, slides, slide films. It is known that such learning tools make it much easier for students to understand and memorize educational material, they awaken their interest in the phenomena under study. The perception of information is an important stage in the assimilation of the material; the correct formation of concepts and the awareness of their essence depend on it. In this regard, the importance of a computer increases, whose graphic capabilities make it possible to provide visual-figurative, graphical information in combination with a symbol-character.

When explaining the new material and carrying out practical work, you can use the computer programs of Excel, Paint, Adobe Photograph, Word, Rover Роint. Work with them even for beginners to master the computer.

If you are able to perform computer presentations with the help of the program Wood World, you can make educational visual aids for any section of the program.

The mastering of the Adobe Photoshop program can allow teachers and industrial training masters to create original stands for classrooms or training workshops, which will save money on their purchase.

Using special test shells on their subject, the teacher will be able to carry out a knowledge test in an interesting electronic form for students, saving, at the same time, their time to check them, since the skillful setup of such programs allows you to do this automatically. Testing students' knowledge using a computer significantly speeds up the procedure for summarizing the work performed and reduces the number of errors in their assessment.

Unfortunately, today we have a number of restrictions in the use of ICT.

  1. Insufficient material base of the college
  2. Insufficient competence of teachers in the use of ICT
  3. Not the perfection of the data transmission system

Today, information communication technologies (ICT) are widely developed around the world. The need to introduce new information technologies in the educational process is beyond doubt. Modern society characterizes the process of active use of an information resource as a social product in the context of the functioning of the worldwide information network, which allows access to information without any significant restrictions on the amount and speed of information transmitted. The emergence and widespread use of ICT allows them to be used as a means of communication, education. Information and communication technologies offer fundamentally new opportunities in the field of education, in educational activities and student creativity. When using ICT in the classroom, the motivation of learning is increased and the cognitive interest of students is stimulated, the effectiveness of independent work increases. For the first time, a situation arises where ICT training is becoming the main tool for the further professional activity of a person. The development of research skills and interest in the research activities of students is possible during the development of project tasks.

The relevance of the use of ICT in the modern educational process.

At the end of the last century, the coming 21st century began to be called the “information age”, since in the 20th century, the role of information continuously increased and acquired crucial importance in the development of society, in the progress of the economy, science, technology and culture. However, the 21st century is called not just the “information age”, but, moreover, the “age of the global information society”. In such a society, education, knowledge, information and communication are the basis for the development and well-being of the human person. In order to better adapt to social and professional changes, today more and more citizens need to acquire the skills of critical analysis of information of any symbolic systems (figurative, sound, textual).

In this regard, teachers are faced with a new task: to prepare the new generation for life in the modern informational environment, to perceive various information, to learn to understand it, to understand the consequences of the impact on the psyche, to master ways of communicating on the basis of non-verbal forms of communication using technical means.

The introduction of new information technologies in the educational process is changing the traditional view of education. The main principles of modern IT are:

  • · interactive (interactive) mode of working with a computer;
  • · Integration (interconnection) with other software products;
  • · The flexibility of the process of changing both the initial data and the problem statement.

The development of multimedia textbooks has become an urgent task in the context of the development of the modern education system and the widespread introduction of new IT in the educational process.
